EAST LIVEPROOL, OH – The Columbiana County Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) has received the designation of High Performer, which is the highest recognition given by the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Public Housing Program.
Each year, all Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) that operate Public Housing Programs undergo a review of essential housing operations. The agencies are scored in the areas of physical, management and financial assessment and capital fund program. PHAs that score a 90% or higher earn High Performer status.
CMHA is no stranger to the High Performer status, having received the designation the last three years. “We are thrilled to once again receive this designation from HUD,” said CMHA Executive Director, Bernard Bennett. “We work hard to provide high quality services to our residents, and to the people of Columbiana County. This would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of our staff.”
CMHA serves low-income families throughout Columbiana County, through both the public housing program and the housing choice voucher program. For more information on services provided by CMHA, call 330-386-5970, or visit www.cmhamove.com.
